Curriculum

Pomario offers a fully CAPS-aligned curriculum from grade 1 to grade 12, as well as the Cambridge International programme for high school students. We also have a pre-school where we accommodate children from as young as 3 months old. Our pre-school classes include: 3 months to 1 year, 1 - 2 years, 2-3 years, 3-4 years (Gr. RRR), 4-5 years (Gr. RR) and 5-6 years (Gr. R). We are proud of our unique, personal approach, which is achieved through personal attention to every child.

The Grade R curriculum and assessment are based on the NCF (National Curriculum Framework) and CAPS for Grade R, while the ELDAs are used as guidelines for babies up to and including Grade RR.

Robotics

Introducing Robotics at Pomario

Robotics combines elements of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) to create machines that can perform tasks, solve problems and interact with their environment. Learners will develop problem-solving, programming, engineering design, teamwork and technical skills.
